  7. What is FinalChapter
  8. FinalChapter is an application that makes it extremely easy to add and edit chapter tracks in QuickTime movies. FinalChapter has extensive balloon help to aid you in adding chapters. Version 2.0 adds many new features including the ability to edit chapters by dragging them to a new time.

  13. FinalChapter requires System 8.5 or greater and QuickTime 4.0 or greater.

  18. FinalChapter is shareware. You can evaluate it free for 30 days, but if you decide to keep it, you must pay the $10 fee. After paying the fee, you will receive a registration code to enter in the Registration dialog.

  20. Paying the fee also entitles you to upgrades and technical support.

  22. Payments are handled by Kagi, a payment processing company, and can be made using cash, check, credit card, or a First Virtual account.  To buy one or more copies of FinalChapter, launch the "Register FinalChapter" application that came with FinalChapter.

  46. - Control-dragging the selected chapter marker in the chapter timeline will set it to a new time.
  47. - Control left and right arrow will nudge the selected chapter time fron the chapter window.
  48. - Left and right arrow will nudge the movie from the chapter window.
  49. - Tab will jump to the next chapter in the chapter window.
  50. - Shift-Tab will jump to the previous chapter in the chapter window.
  51. - Displays the current movie time in the chapter window
  52. - Displays a movie marker to show the current time of the movie relative to the track time
  53. - Full undo for chapter editing.
  54. - Changed the default name in the added chapter dialog to the chapter time
  55. - When dragging the chapter marker, pin it to the beginning or end of the track
  56. - Added "Save As" support
  57. - Now remembers the last expanded state of the chapter window
  58. - If the chapter window is already created then the "Show Chapter window" brings it forward
  59. - Movie now stops when adding a chapter track so you can tell exactly where it will be added
